Here comes <Cosmo Breeze>!

2008년 드디어 가야금 일렉트로니카의 역사가 시작된다.

가야금 앙상블 아우라(AURA)와 오리엔탈 익스프레스(Oriental Express)의 가야금 연주자로 활동하면서 현대음악, 재즈, 전통음악 등의 다양한 분야에서 이미 그 실력을 인정받은 박경소가 첫 번째 싱글 앨범 <Cosmo Breeze>를 발표하였다.

한국 전통악기 연주자로서 쉽게 접근하지 않았던, 그리고 다양한 장르에서 활동하고 있는 박경소 그녀 스스로도 처음으로 시도하는 장르인 일렉트로니카. 이번 그녀의 첫 번째 싱글 앨범에서는 고전의 아름다움을 간직한 악기 가야금의 유려함과 디지털의 무한함이 만나 새로운 음악을 만들었다.

수록된 곡은 모두 3곡으로 머릿속을 맴돌며 상큼하게 튀어오르는 스윙리듬의 <Orbital Swing>, 두터운 레이어를 형성하여 가야금의 다양한 소리를 즐길 수 있는 이번 앨범의 타이틀 <Cosmo Breeze>, 마지막으로는 전통적인 가락으로 만들어져 더욱더 생생한 산조가야금을 느낄 수 있는 <생생> 이렇게 세 곡이다. 특히 <Cosmo Breeze>와 <생생>은 한 번의 감상으로는 멈출 수 없는 매력을 지닌 작품이다.

세상을 향한 멈추지 않는 호기심과 실험, 도전으로 자신만의 음악세계를 만들어가고 있는 박경소. 우리의 생생한 가야금 소리가 온 세상의 산들바람으로 퍼져나가는 그 날을 고대하며 <Cosmo Breeze>와 함께 그녀의 음악 궤도에 함께하자.
